sad news really hits hard. i was woken up this morning with a phone call from hazel, who told me that joe passed away last night. joe was a really great guy. he spent so much time helping out at st. mary's and with the boy scouts. i remember when i was young, he would teach us kids church songs. that one song i remember went something like, "he brings us to his banqueting table, his banner over me is love...peter built his church on the rock of our faith, his banner over me is love." i am so gonna miss him. RIP Joseph Tumingting.
