Smurf Into My WoRLd

yea, i found time to blog! last week was pretty busy. it was so busy i didn't even do any schoolwork or even attempt to, except read and wrote a one page response for my hip hop class. that class is just so effing awesome. near the end of the class my prof was showing us clips of some fellas breakdancing. if only i could do that. that's my fun kickback class for this quarter. cog sci, math, and chem are so and so. only one quarter left of school. aww! every weekend i'm gonna try to have as much fun as possible and during the week study study study.

flashback to the past
last last friday, the 28th. of march. was supposed to eat lunch w/sherlyn and gelo but they had some presentations to do at morse for their berkeley thing so afterwards they picked me up and we went to get boba at lollicup and chilled there for an hour. we talked, caught up on what each other was doing. it was really nice seeing them again. then in the evening, went out with my mom and lil sis went shopping at plaza. haven't been to that mall in the longest time. still want to eat at pat & oscars. then at night went out with joyD, ren, and steph to watch bringing down the house at mission. that was cool. it was a last minute thing, too.

the next day, saturday. i went shopping again at navy exchange. then went out w/the girls at cheesecake factory for mine and shele's joint birthday thing. we didn't have to wait that long, compared to last time we went. yea! there were 8 of us...shele, me, steph, ren, joyD, olive, mary anne, and angela. shele and i got birthday sundaes. i bought one slice of cheesecake but we were all full so all 8 of us couldn't even finish all of it. then afterwards, we went to raliza's bonfire/morse reunion. saw a lot of people i didn't see since graduation. that was cool. couldn't stay long since i got there late and had to go home. sunday...church..then went back to my dorm.

all last week, i either had kunfusion practice or work party. so that's what kept me busy. thursday, i went to get allergy tested. found out i'm allergic to dust mites. got more face cream. still have to take my pills. but it's all good. i could eat whatever i want now, so i'm happy about that! on friday, the 4th. went out with my suitemates, maiti, michelle, lisa, lauren, and jen and four close guy friends, anish, walter, myron, and mark for my birthday. we went down south to party. a bunch of ucsd peeps went. cuz it was back to spring break thing going on. we took the bus down there. more than half of my friends haven't been there before so they were all excited. and they had a lot of fun. they want to go again! haha. we had to take care of our friend who pretty much passed out. we tease him now and we took a lot of pictures down there. haha. got back at ucsd at 5. saturday, had practice at 12-5 then work party at 6. so i didn't have much rest. got boba with my ate, her bf, and my fren mark.

sunday, the 6th, i woke up on time! but then i forgot about the time change so my ate and i were late to church. we got there when the ushers were putting the books away. my parents weren't pleased. sad to say. then ate a quick lunch and drive all the way back to ucsd to practice on stage at 12. got there on time, right when they were about to dance. whew! watched other groups practice then went back to my dorm to chill and take a short nap. then back up to RIMAC to get ready for fusion. that was a really great experience. it's great to be part of something as awesome as fusion. my suitemates and the guys downstairs and my cousins and my ate and other friends went. even though it cost as much as it did, they still went. so happy! i was nervous when we were waiting for our turn to perform but when i got onstage and we did our routine, i wasn't nervous anymore. the music all blared up, people cheering...i was just having fun up there. i wanna do it again next year. my sister's bf was working backstage and i asked if he liked it. and he said yea and that he saw me on the big screen. haha, that was cool. then afterwards, we all went to ovt cuz we were so hungry. we had a food fight. anish threw tobasco sauce at me, got some on my pants. walking back to our dorm, i put some yogurt on anish and it went on his clothes and shoes and he put mountain dew and chips in my hair. so nasty! so we have this lil war going on. he said he's gonna retaliate. so vengeful. haha.

first week is over! it was so fun. now it's back to doing homework and concentrating. darn! my suitemates and i have a lot of plans to do for the weekends to come. hopefully we can do them all before the year is over. make a lot of memories. oh yea, after ovt, and after i took a shower, we (me, anish, walter, kevin, michelle, and elisa) had a bonding session til 330. even though i was soo tired, i still stayed up. we put everything out into the open. and it got us closer. we thought of our most memorable moments with each other and we made an ideal person, putting one of good characteristic traits into that person and named him zappy. hehe.
