Summer's here!
hey shele. yea. i haven't been blogging. studying for finals and taking them took up my time. and also spending precious time with my bf and ucsd buddies before school ended. so...sorry about that. glad u've been paying attention. hehe.
wow. my first year of college is over. it's be quite an experience. it's had its ups and downs but towards the end, it had a lot of ups. the dorm life is really incredible. i'm glad i got to experience it and i'm really grateful. my suitemates were awesome, they're a bunch of cool people, in their own different ways...and the guys i met throughout the year, met a lot of wrongs ones, until i found the right ones. and those guys were living right below us! 2nd floor guys are great. i'm gonna miss them over the summer. i'm looking forward to next year, when we're in our apartments. i know that's gonna be a blast.
finals week was...ehh! music final was a breeze. math was alrite. cog sci was alrite. chem was hard! glad that's over. hung out a lot with walter during finals week. on wednesday, spur of the moment, we went to the scripps museum. we took the shuttle there. it didn't even take that long, so that was cool. spendimg time at the museum was so relaxing, looking at all the little sea creatures and looking at the beach. so peaceful. friday was our last night at ucsd. my suitemates, the guys, my ex-ra jen, and karen went to outback steakhouse. first time there. good food. then we went back and sat around and talked. reflected on the past year. it made me cry. it was so emotional. saturday, i moved out of my dorm and went back home. moving out was such a hassle. took many trips from my room to the van. i'm still not done unpacking. i did my laundry but i still have to fold it and put it away. my school supplies, still haven't touched that. i just wanna relax!
plans for the summer:
work. save money. college costs a lot! no duh. but wow, towards the end of school, i was so low on cash.
hang out with shele and steph and everyone else. i'm glad i still kept in touch with you guys. you guys are the best. summer's gonna be fun, right? i hope so! we still need to take our best friends pic.
sleep. work out. relax. work out!
i miss walter. it's gonna be tough not seeing him everyday. i'll get through it.
